Chaitanya Kirtan

Immerse yourself in a synergy of heart and spirit, exuberance and grace as you sing with Chaitanya Kirtan.  Koriander’s rich soaring vocals, backed by harmonium or guitar and Rishi’s lively tabla rhythms are the medium for the devotional mantras & bhajans from Sanskrit and Sikh kirtan.  Will, who often joins Chaitanya, adds his melodic bass to this ecstatic musical tapestry. All members bring their years of devotional practice and open-heartedness to co-create a joyful, relaxed experience that will uplift you in sweetness.

“Where one has to create vibrations in the molecules and atoms of the body,
in the chords of the heart – there, the music has to follow an extraordinary path.”

Siri Beant Singh (Bob Bauer)

Siri Beant attended his first yoga class in early 2000 as a way to offset physical stressors of a daily long distance running routine. In 2003 he attended his first Kundalini class with Sierra Hollister. Through her guidance and inspiration, he learned of the teachings of Yogi Bhajan. As his desire to learn continued to grow, in August 2008, he completed a 27 day Kundalini Yoga immersion course in New Mexico. Just as the Golden Chain was passed along to him, his days and nights under the blanket of leadership and group consciousness gave the breath of life into the feeling that he, too, could expand the offering of the Chain. Bob reflects upon returning to the land of his personal daily obligations. “The gift of sharing the ancient teachings of Kundalini Yoga has allowed me to receive the opportunity to do the same”. To continue the process, Bob will be working towards the completion of Level II Teacher Training. The journey continues.
